Mailboxes
Q:
Who is responsible for mailbox upkeep and repair?

A:

The homeowner. The WoodCreek Homeowners Association specifies standards for mailbox upkeep but the homeowner is responsible for the maintenance.

Q:
What colors should I use to paint my mailbox?

A:

WoodCreek homeowners should use the following paint colors on mailboxes:
• Exterior White, Gloss (post and newspaper box)
• Hunter Green Satin Spray Paint (mailbox)
• Metallic Gold (logo trim on newspaper box)

Q:
How do I replace the newspaper portion of my mailbox?

A:

Replacement parts can be ordered through A Sign Group at (770) 486-1806. Contact them directly. They may put you on a waiting list until they have five orders lined up. They use a new material that won’t fade, crack, or rot. The charge for a new newspaper box with house number and WoodCreek logo is $165 (extra for installation). It’s very easy to install it yourself.

Q:
Where can I purchase a replacement for my metal mailbox?

A:
Home Depot and Lowe’s stock the metal mailbox (approx. $20), but you’ll have to paint it Hunter Green Satin (spray approx. $4). You can also order the mailbox from A Sign Group (770-486-1806), although they charge a higher fee. The dimensions of the metal mailbox are 11 inches x 15 inches x 23.5 inches.
